Pantene Pro-V Collection: Truly Natural
I was honored to be selected to try these products from Pantene Pro-V Truly Natural. The Pro-V formula offers deep cleansing without stripping away the natural moisture. I stopped relaxing my hair in 2011 because I found that my hair had thinned out tremendously. I lost the thickness and fullness that I once had. Because I alternate between sew in extensions, interlocks, and lace front wigs, I didn’t feel the need to relax my hair anymore. When I look for hair care products, I look for something that works well on my hair, my lace front wigs, and my extensions. So this past week, I put Pantene Pro-V Truly Natural products to the test. I washed and co-washed my hair right along with my wig, and my extensions. I was very pleased with the results!
I washed my hair on Tuesday and then Co-washed on Saturday morning. Since I had a few errands to run, I decided to rock an afro puff. I washed and conditioned my hair with the Pantene products (clarifying shampoo & deep conditioner); I then applied the shine serum. After my hair dried, I applied the custard and sweep my hair into a loose pony to create my afro puff. The products smelled great and left my hair soft and manageable. The shine serum added just the right amount of shine and I loved how the custard gave me a firm hold but did not dry hard and leave build up like some of the products I’ve tried.
I also washed my Remy Human Hair lace front wig with the clarifying shampoo. I then conditioned my wig and let the product stay on there for about a half hour. The Pantene Pro-V products brought my wig to life by leaving the hair soft, and untangled. The products also brought back its natural wave pattern that I loved when I first purchased the unit.
I have four bundles of 24” Remy Human Hair Brazilian wave hair that I wanted to re-use for my next sew in. Pantene Pro-V also brought that back to life with the same results that left the hair soft, wavy, and shiny. This hair is quite expensive,so it is very important that you use the right products on it to maintain the life of the hair.
Many African-American women wear extensions. I wanted to try these products out to see how well they worked on my hair, as well as, my extensions. The Pantene Pro-V products worked wonders on my hair and my human hair extensions. The products are also very affordable with the shampoo and conditioner retailing for $4.99. Very budget friendly with great results!
