navabi Finally Campaign: All Plus Size Women Should Walk Down the Street Naked
Imagine a quiet afternoon taking a leisurely stroll down a heavily populated street. A car pulls up and out pops a beautiful full figured woman with enough poise and confidence to rule the world, there’s only one thing missing, her clothes. Plus size fashion retailer navabi launched their new campaign that simply states “Finally – designer fashion beyond a size 14”. The campaign features a beautiful nude model who wears a size 20 like me. She proudly walks the streets of Berlin in search of some fashionable designer clothes that are made for plus size women. She finally stops at a rack of navabi clothing and picks out a cute Roberto Cavalli dress. This is an excellent campaign as there have been times when I would rather walk naked down the street then wear some of the clothing in certain stores.
I came across this campaign a few weeks ago and immediately added it to my list of fabulous things to blog about. As a plus size woman, I can appreciate any designer who strives to make cute and fashionable clothing for women with a little junk in the trunk. I am often told that plus size clothing has evolved and that “back in the day” a.k.a the 1950’s and 60’s plus size clothing resembled ugly curtains. I am happy that many stores and designers now realize that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I am also thankful that I don’t have to walk around in ugly curtains! Not Fabulous, Not Cute, Not Sexy!
Although the clothing on their website is slightly expensive; with price ranges between $60.00 – $1200.00. I found some cute trendy items that are timeless, especially the Roberto Cavalli dresses pictured below. The black Cavalli dress has my name written all over it!

I can honestly say that I haven’t looked at a clothing catalog or a website in years and said to myself, “damn I wish they made that in my size”!

Absolutely right designers deserve a grand salute for designing such a beautiful cloths for such a beautiful ladies “true respect to designers because i love their designs and their creativity “
